This weekend in Winnipeg, the ATU Canada Executive Board and ATU delegates from across the country, led by ATU Canada President John Di Nino were proud to stand on the floor of the NDP Federal Leadership Convention, representing 35,000 transit workers from coast to coast.

To every candidate who ran: thank you. Six months of town halls, forums, and direct conversations with our rank and file members. Six months of engaging New Democrats across the country, championing our national transit strategy, and showing up to rebuild and renew the movement. 

You showed that transit workers belong in this conversation, and we are grateful for your commitment to the movement.
