National Coming Out Day

NCOD was started following the 1987 March on Washington for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Allies. It celebrates LGBTQ+ identities and acknowledges that when people know someone who is LGBTQ+, they are more likely to vote for legislation that is inclusive of gender diverse persons.
